Your Challenge

As an HR Business Partner at Advantech, you will navigate a dynamic landscape of rules, legislation, and regulations while championing the needs and well-being of our employees. You will serve as a strategic advisor to the Advantech Management team, playing a crucial role in shaping our HR strategy and practices.

Your responsibility

You will oversee the entire HR process for your team, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between. Acting as the HR conscience of your sector, you will collaborate closely with high-level management to develop and implement HR strategies. You will provide solid advice and feedback on HR matters, ensuring our policies are effective and well-executed throughout the yearly HR cycle. Your role involves:

  • Independently advising managers and teams on HR topics, emphasizing the strategic importance of HRM.
  • Guiding and leading based on our expertise in post-merger integration and French Legislation.
  • Providing input and feedback on global HR projects, representing the specific needs of your business sector.

Collaborating with a diverse HR team, including other HR Business Partners, HR specialists, Compensation & Benefits officers, and Recruiters. This decentralized team operates across Europe as a cohesive unit supporting our pan-European organization

Who Are You

HR is your passion, and you bring at least 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a pan-European organization. You are adept at working with remote teams and have a background in managing fast-growing organizations, particularly during post-merger integration. Your agility and flexibility enable you to address urgent topics and lead during transformational times.


You are fluent in English and French. Having additional knowledge of the HR regulations in Spain and Italy being a plus. Your working style integrates action with strategic thinking, and you have a strong educational background in HR. A proactive attitude, motivation, and initiative are key traits you possess. Experience with Works councils is also desirable. You see opportunities and embrace a growth mindset, consistently seeking ways to advance and improve.
