Are you passionate about driving sales? Join our team as a dedicated Sales and Business Development Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in propelling our ongoing success by developing new business with Industrial Automation, Computing and Networking hard- and software solutions, and leading a team of international sales professionals.

Your responsibility

As a Sales and Business Development Manager at Advantech (Hilden office), you’ll embark on a multifaceted role blending ecosystem management and strategic Key Account sales. Your leadership expertise will shine as you mentor, coach, and empower your team, utilizing an authentic mentoring leadership style to drive sales excellence. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders, including HQ (Taiwan), regional sales teams, and cross-sector collaborators, you’ll orchestrate seamless collaboration for maximum customer satisfaction. You will have a primary  focus on developing smart manufacturing and energy utilities equipment builders, system integrators, end users and operators.

Beyond Key Account management and sales coaching, you’ll serve as the primary liaison for major Key Accounts and strategic eco-partners across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As a core member of the Industrial IoT Business and German leadership team, you’ll craft and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Your adept communication skills will foster robust relationships with local and global counterparts, ensuring alignment and synergy across borders.

A natural networker, you thrive on cultivating relationships with C-level executives and corporate stakeholders, championing the company’s solutions as indispensable assets. Your strategic acumen, coupled with a keen sense of market dynamics, drives your success in navigating the competitive landscape.

Armed with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, you possess a strategic mindset honed through years of hands-on experience. Fluent in both German and English, you’re adept at articulating technical automation concepts and forging meaningful relationships across diverse levels and audiences.
