Your challenge
The AVP of Intelligent Systems will be a strategic leader driving business innovation and growth in
the field of intelligent systems. You will shape a successful business unit by building and
expanding an international unit that collaborates with partners to deliver transformative solutions, as well direct as through the channel. Your focus will include fostering sustainable business practices that align with Advantech’s vision for long-term impact and resilience.
Your responsibility
- Strategic Business Development: Build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders, technology providers, and industry leaders to co-create market-ready solutions that drive mutual growth.
- Unit Building: Establish and expand a high-performing international unit focused on intelligent systems, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence to ensure global competitiveness.
- Sustainability Leadership: Develop strategies prioritizing sustainable business models, addressing environmental, social, and economic challenges while ensuring profitability.
- Global Market Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to position Advantech as a leader in intelligent systems across international markets, leveraging regional insights and local expertise.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Collaborate with partners and customers to codevelop tailored intelligent systems that meet evolving market needs.
- Innovation Ecosystem: Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate intelligent systems into Advantech’s broader ecosystem, enhancing value across the product and service portfolio.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, secure, and innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and market demands.
Who are you?
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, IT, business administration, or related fields.
- Proven experience in business development, particularly in building partnerships and scaling international operations.
- A strong understanding of intelligent systems, IoT, and sustainable technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement long-term business strategies with a focus on sustainability.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire a global workforce, and still in the possession of a hands-on/roll-up-the-sleeves mentality.
- A strategic growth mindset with a track record of delivering measurable business impact.
- Corporate and cultural sensitivity that’s needed to deliver success on an international scale.
- Resilient and innovative, with the ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic markets.
