Your challenge

Advantech is transforming and HR is at the heart off the change. For the HR team itself this means a new shape and form: more strategic, business focused, automated and data driven. As our HR (Change) Manager for Europe, you will be at the forefront of this transformation: coaching the team, leading key projects and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Based on your experience you will set up the team for the future in 2-3 years.

Your responsibility

As our HR manager, you will be the backbone of our HR department. Your responsibilities will include:

  •         COE Development: Lead the transition from operational tasks to strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
  •         Efficiency Goals: Oversee the implementation of Workday as the new HRIS system and coach our HR supervisor at improving the ‘run’ based on KPI dashboards.
  •         Future Focus: Drive the reduction of manual and complex work processes to support the shift to business-driven HR. Increase the use of AI to streamline HR functions. Enhance employee communications to reduce queries and improve engagement.
  •         HR Projects: Address the delivery of several critical HR projects. 
  •         Talent Development: deliver the talent- and management development programs across Advantech Europe aligned with our global framework. 
  •         Team development: energize and coach the team in their professional and personal development.
  •         Partner management: set up a framework for managing our HR partnerships in Europe.

Who are you?

  •         Proven Track Record: 15+ years in an international (EU or Asian) environment. HR project delivery, coaching HR professionals, talent development, and implementing Workday HRIS.
  •         Strategic and Hands-On go-getter: Capable of leading key projects while coaching teams on their professional growth.
  •         Analytical Thinker: Skilled at identifying improvements through data analysis.
  •         Cultural Navigator: Well-versed in the dynamics of a growing company with diverse stakeholders across Europe, Asia, and beyond.
  •         Resilient Leader: Demonstrated ability to manage high work pressure while maintaining efficiency and stakeholder engagement.
  •         Knowledgeable Professional: Strong understanding of EU legislation, business acumen, and Asia work culture.
  •         A committed coach and communicator: warm and straight in providing feedback.
