Your challenge
The Integration Support Engineer role presents an exciting opportunity to work with Advantech’s WISE-IoT platform. This platform integrates edge computing to offer comprehensive data collection, analysis (including AI), and visualization services, addressing diverse vertical industry needs. You will face the challenge of planning and implementing edge-to-cloud application architectures, validating proof of concepts, and supporting technical integrations. Additionally, you will ensure the platform operates smoothly, optimizing resource management, performing regular performance inspections, and responding to operational issues while meeting SLA standards.
Your responsibility
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in planning their edge-to-cloud application architecture and technical integration for POC validation. You will test and validate Advantech’s low-code tools, analyze software issues, and clarify user requirements. Developing platform automation management tools and technical support tools is also part of your responsibility. Furthermore, you will assist optimizing resource management architecture, establish monitoring indicators, provide regular performance inspections, and ensure the platform’s stable operation. This includes troubleshooting operational failures, responding to ticketed issues, writing technical documents, developing training materials, and managing technical development forums.
Who are you?
You are a dedicated and skilled professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. You possess at least two years of relevant work experience, demonstrating proficiency in Linux/Windows operating systems and basic programming skills in Python, NodeRed / Node.js and Grafana as visualization tool. You have a foundational understanding of IoT application architecture, including data collection, MQTT, network architecture, embedded systems, and cloud computing. With strong service orientation and excellent communication skills, you effectively interact with customers. Your ability to work under pressure and strong self-learning capabilities set you apart. Preferred experiences include working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, developing and using Docker Containers and Kubernetes, managing databases, and developing and maintaining applications and web apps. Experience with virtualization and hyper-converged systems like VMware and OpenStack is also valuable. Basic Knowledge about OT (Operational Technology) automation protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC is desirable. Fluency in English is a must for this position.
