Your challenge
The Advantech Quality Team is on a journey to expand its scope from local to European. The goal is to create a unified system that connects all Advantech Europe offices. As a Quality Specialist, you’ll implement new processes, streamline workflows, and harmonize existing systems into “One Advantech.” A significant part of this role involves project management and leading audits—both internal and external. Your responsibility
As a Quality Specialist at Advantech, your role revolves around refining processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering quality excellence across the organization. Your key responsibilities include:
- Investigating existing processes and identifying gaps against Advantech, customer, regulations and ISO standard requirements.
- Assisting departments in creating and optimizing their processes.
- Managing and supporting process management initiatives.
- Maintain the QMS – implement, monitor and improve the system and its processes.
- Managing approximately 20 audits annually (internal and external).
- Coordinating with customers and regulatory audits.
- Conducting training sessions for international colleagues on: Process description methods, ISO/Customer requirements, and internal audit procedures.
- Supporting and ensuring follow-up actions on identified risks and opportunities post-audit.
- Acting as a go-to expert for all process-related topics.
Who are you?
Process Management, especially from a quality perspective, is second nature to you. Beyond your expertise in various ISO certifications, you excel at engaging and guiding others to embrace and adhere to effective processes, even in a fast-paced, sales-driven organization like Advantech. You bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in a Scientific or Engineering field.
- 3-5 years of experience in QA and as a Lead Auditor.
- Up-to-date knowledge of ISO9001 (preferably certified) and ISO13485; knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO27001 is a plus.
- Proven experience in process and risk management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging with senior management.
- Critical thinking, detail-oriented, pro-active and independent attituded.
- The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
