Your challenge
As an IT Support Specialist, your primary challenge is to support all European users (600+) in 15 offices around Europe. You play a role to coordinate IT requests with internal and external providers. Of course, you cooperate closely with the European IT team and are partially responsible for providing IT service through IT service desk point of contact.
Your responsibility
As our IT Support Specialist, you will have the following day to day tasks:
- First-line Support: First contact for IT-related issues and requests.
- IT Security: Assist in monitoring and reporting potential security incidents and vulnerabilities identified through service desk interactions.
- Ticket Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation of incidents and requests.
- IT Stock Management: Maintaining IT stock related for all internal users. For example; laptops, desktops, headsets, etc.
- On- and Offboarding process: Making sure new employee will have a smooth onboarding related to IT. Also, you will make sure that everything is arranged and secure for an offboarding.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the IT Infrastructure team to escalate and resolve issues that require specialized expertise. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Who are you?
You are a good communicator; you do what you say and say what you do. You have finished an MBO IT-related education. You really show your passion and enthusiasm for your job with the people around you. Due to the systems you will be working with, we look for someone with knowledge of:
- System administration: Windows 2019, Windows 2022, Active Directory Management, Office 365 (MS Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams).
- Service desk: Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, MS Teams softphone, Jira.
- Language: Fluent in English (verbal and written).
How do we see the future?
The IT Infrastructure team is continuously improving the systems and service level. This will ask a lot from the team, because these activities need to happen besides the regular daily tasks. A certain level of independence and ownership is needed and therefor asked in each and everyone in the team.
