Your challenge

As HR Administrator, you will take care of a variety of administrative & organizational activities to support the HR department of Advantech Europe. 

Your responsibility

You are responsible for all related HR tasks, including accurate employee record keeping, documentation, and following of Human Resources policies and regulations. You ensure the development, implementation, evaluation and correct consistent application of HR processes and HR policies within the organization, reporting to our European HR Supervisor. Furthermore, you are one of the local ‘faces’ of HR on the floor that provides individual advice to managers and employees on work related topics. Next to that, the day-to-day tasks can include:

  • Ensuring the HR administrative processes run smoothly;
  • Supporting the HR professionals on several topics such as preparing labor contracts for new hires, creating letters for employees with changing labor conditions, collecting individual employee data, facilitating the onboarding of new employees, sickness management, processing mutations and updating our administrative systems;
  • Maintaining contact with several government institutions like UWV, IND, Arbodienst etc.

 

Who are you?

You are a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to develop partnerships across the HR function, delivering value-added services to management and employees. You have experience working in an international environment where you handled diverse administrative tasks. You have 2+ years of experience in an HR position with strong knowledge of Dutch labour legislation. You are able to demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving skills (look beyond the case) and attention to detail. You are fluent in English and Dutch. Furthermore, you have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with HR information systems (for example, SD Works/Workday). Experience and knowledge of one/more European payrolls is a plus.
