Your responsibility
As Key Account Manager for Advantech in the DACH region, focusing on the Energy and Utilities sector, you will:
- Act as the primary representative of Advantech, identifying and engaging new End Users (DSOs/TSOs), System Integrators, and OEM Solution providers focused on power grid digitalization.
- Develop an ecosystem of System Integrators (SIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) customers in the Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sectors within Renewable Energy.
- Exercise full autonomy in identifying and pursuing opportunities, bringing energy and drive to the role.
- Operate independently in field sales while collaborating closely with application engineering, marketing, and inside sales teams to ensure success.
- Spend the majority of your time in the field, supported by a robust team.
- Drive growth in Advantech’s DACH Energy and Utility market.
Who are you?
You are a natural sales hunter with a passion for industrial automation in the Energy and Utility environment. With a strong technical background and proven experience working with DSO/TSO and OEM customers, you:
- Build long-lasting relationships and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Have experience in Industrial Automation, Electronics, or Computer Science.
- Possess a deep understanding of the DACH E&U market and are well-connected within the ecosystem.
- Understand the competitive landscape and key players in the sector.
- Are a competitive self-starter with a collaborative mindset to ensure successful outcomes.
- Are professionally fluent in German and English.
- Are excited by Industry 4.0 and the Next Generation Power Grids, thinking outside the box and going the extra mile for customers.
