Are you ready to drive the future of Factory Automation and Industry 4.0 in France? As our Key Account Manager for Industrial IoT, you will play a crucial role in expanding Advantech’s presence in the French manufacturing sector. With the support of our dedicated iFactory team, you will strategically guide and support key industrial clients, ensuring computing and solution excellence while reinforcing Advantech’s leadership in smart manufacturing and automation.

Your responsibility

As part of a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Solution Engineers, and Sales Support, you will lead direct sales efforts, focusing on building long-term relationships with key manufacturing industry customers and system integrators across France. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing strategic relationships with key customers at both management and technical levels, positioning Advantech as a leader in smart factory and automation solutions. 
  • Driving direct sales growth, engaging with major manufacturing companies and system integrators to provide Industrial IoT, edge computing, and automation solutions. 
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with Advantech’s business goals and market expansion strategy. 
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the French manufacturing sector, including collaborations with system integrators to deliver complete automation solutions.
  • Developing partnerships with system integrators and solution partners, ensuring Advantech solutions are embedded in large-scale automation and digital transformation projects.
  • Implementing sales and account management strategies to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen customer engagement. 
  • Actively participating in industry trade fairs, conferences, and professional networks to enhance Advantech’s presence in France’s manufacturing and system integration landscape.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and long-term customer success.

Who are you?

You are a results-driven B2B sales professional with a strong technical background and a passion for helping manufacturers and system integrators adopt innovative Industry 4.0 solutions. Your ability to build trust, manage complex solution sales, and develop long-term customer relationships makes you the ideal candidate for this role. We are looking for someone with:

  • A technical background in automation, industrial engineering, electronics, or computer science.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, specifically within the manufacturing and industrial automation sector in France. 
  • Experience working with system integrators, understanding their role in deploying automation solutions and ensuring successful project implementation.
  • A proactive and independent approach, with the ability to develop and execute key account and partnership strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, allowing you to clearly communicate the value of Advantech’s solutions.
  • Strategic thinking to plan and execute sales initiatives while meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Fluency in French and English, ensuring effective communication in an international business environment.
  • Located near a key manufacturing hub in France (e.g., Paris, Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg) to facilitate customer engagement and business development.
