Advantech is hiring a dynamic and seasoned HR professional to join our team in a role that combines strategic talent acquisition with core HR business partnership. This unique position is split evenly (50/50) between hands-on recruitment for key roles and providing proactive, immediate HR support to our business units. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor, equally adept at identifying top talent and fostering a high-performance, engaging work environment.
Your responsibility
In this role, you will be responsible for diverse tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
Recruitment (50%):
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for business units, from job requisition to offer acceptance.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies, and ensure superior candidate experience.
- Proactively source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates using a variety of channels.
- Provide candidate insights, and guide hiring managers through the selection and offer negotiation process.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts.
HR Business Partnership (50%):
- Serve as the primary HR contact and advisor for assigned business units, building strong, trusting relationships with managers and employees.
- Provide day to day guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices (e.g., workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, career development).
- Support managers in addressing employee relations matters, conducting investigations when necessary, and recommending appropriate actions.
- Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement) with business leaders to identify trends and develop actionable solutions to improve team health and performance.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefit, and Talent Management to deliver integrated programs and solutions.
Who are you?
You are a proactive and driven HR professional with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across the organization. You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a combination of full-cycle recruiting and HR Generalist/HRBP roles.
- Strong sourcing skills, excellent coordination ability, experience in technical industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach towards business problems and process improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to different shareholders. Fluent in English language is essential. Other European language is a plus.
- At least 32 work hours per week, full time 40 hours is preferred; Onsite working is preferred (Hybrid model is acceptable with 4 days’ working in the office).
