Your challenge
The European organization sells products and systems which are manufactured in Asia. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth planning, execution, and control of the supply chain. You’ll work closely with teams across sales, production, and logistics to keep everything running efficiently. At the end of the day, the right products have to be at the right location at the right time.
Your responsibility
As a Supply Chain Specialist, your role is central to ensuring efficient operations across the supply chain. You’ll focus on four key areas: Planning, Executing, Monitoring, and Controlling. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll ensure that products are forecasted, managed, and delivered on time. Your responsibilities include:
- Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with sales to anticipate product needs and align inventory with demand.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory to meet customer demands.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and drive positive changes to enhance operational performance.
By continuously improving processes, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and long-term success.
Who are you?
You are a motivated and proactive Supply Chain Specialist with a passion for driving efficiency and improving processes. You thrive in an international environment and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. You’ll need to demonstrate the following:
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, ideally in a commercial and international organization.
- Educational Background: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and planning.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze data, think strategically, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, written and spoken.
