Are you ready to play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, tailor-made industrial computer boards and systems? Join our R&D team near Munich and take responsibility for ensuring our locally developed boards and systems meet customer requirements and comply with international standards.
Your responsibility
You will take ownership of the testing process to guarantee the quality, reliability, and compliance of custom boards and systems, next to that, you:
- Ensure our custom boards and systems meet design specifications and comply with relevant standards.
- Derive test criteria from design documents and international standards.
- Establish test plans based on known best practices, conduct tests, and document results.
- Collaborate with systems engineering and other departments to establish robust, reliable test environments that ensure repeatable results.
- Conduct effective failure analysis by recording critical parameters, analyzing results, and narrowing down root causes through systematic variations in test parameters and setups.
- Prepare test environments for compliance testing and collaborate with external test labs to ensure smooth execution.
Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background. Next to that, you have:
- Completed education as an engineer or technician in electronics, systems engineering, or computer science.
- Strong knowledge of embedded computing based on x86 and ARM processors with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with test tools, test methods, and validation techniques for boards and systems.
- Solid understanding of reliability concepts and thermal engineering principles.
- Familiarity with key standards, including IEC 60068, EMC, and safety is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in English. German is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, customers, and external test labs.
- Well-organized, dependable, and focused on efficiency.
- Proactive in streamlining test execution through best practices and test automation.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation is a plus.
