Hi, I’m Marion and I have been working at Advantech as Sales Coordinator – Inside sales for 7 years now and I absolutely love what I do! In my role as Sales Coordinator, I’m like the spider at the center of the web that is called Advantech. I’m the connection between the Sales Managers, our customers and our different operation teams. While our Sales managers are in the field, working with customers to secure new projects, I manage the order coordination and customer information part. I co-manage the Central Europe Region, covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, alongside my colleague from Germany.

Development
Development is always a key part of my work and a big focus at Advantech. Let’s say a channel partner brings us a customer with a specific request or idea, but they’re not sure how to bring it to life. That’s where we come in. We work closely with the customer to develop and test out the idea, creating samples for them to review. Based on their feedback, we keep refining until we have a final product ready for mass production.
Growth
When I first joined Advantech, I found my job to be quite complex and challenging to be honest. It took some time for me to adjust and settle into the role. However, with the help from my manager and team members I quickly found my way through the processes and the company set up, which has brought me to the point I’m at right now and enables me to grow further. Personal growth and development are very much stimulated within Advantech, and management plays a big part in that.
Connect
My relationship with my colleagues is fantastic. We’ve known each other for such a long time that they’ve really become like friends to me. We’re super close and always have a great time together. The atmosphere at work is really something special. Even though our team has grown a lot recently, with lots of new faces joining us, we all get along really well. We’re a diverse group, but we truly value each and every person on the team, which is why we’re such a solid group.
Innovate
In my job, innovation is all about constantly reinventing ourselves and our products. We partner with various companies, and each project is different, with its own specific needs. Our aim is to provide them with innovative solutions that meet those needs. It keeps things exciting and ensures we’re always staying ahead of the game. But innovation is not just about customers and their project, we also continuously improve our own Advantech processes and automate our own systems. Advantech is certainly the leader in innovation. I’m super proud to be part of this team, and I love telling people that I work here!
